There were 14 diners in the restaurant that night, but there was only one chef. Watching the chef busying himself in the open kitchen, it took three hours to finish three courses. It was so tiring.
Dim sum: Steamed dumplings, the dumpling skin is thick, and the four fillings are all salty. In comparison, the beef filling with nuts is good. By the way, when I saw the chef put a bunch of steamed vegetables in the steamer, I was already full of questions. The steamed vegetables were eaten with teriyaki sauce on the side.
Beef tartare: The beef tartare seasoning is too salty, with soy sauce, miso and pickled capers. It is so salty that even my beard can't stand it.
Clear mushroom soup: Hot and salty mushroom soup with tender and smooth grilled beef slices. But after drinking too much soup, I still feel it is a bit salty.
Coconut curry: I ordered this coconut curry duck slices. The duck meat is good and tender, but the vegetables (like zucchini) and the coconut curry sauce are exactly the same as those in ordinary Vietnamese restaurants. If we want to talk about innovation, is it the bottle of Japanese soy sauce served with this main course?
risotto "asia style": Asian-style risotto, the chicken is salty, and the mushrooms are so salty that they are inedible. After eating this meal, the sodium content is about to exceed the standard.
tart of plum: the puff pastry of the tart is a little soft, and it is coated with a layer of plum sauce, and the shape is not very good.
I think the chef is too hard and too confident (one person challenges 14 diners). Looking back at the comments, I have to doubt that I went to the same restaurant.
